The right books just pop up

The mind seems to be some kind of active, selective magnet - attracting ideas that are most relevant to you. I feel that many a time with books - I stumble across the right books without making a conscious effort hunting or looking out for them when i need them most.

Its been a series of such encounters - from 'The Alchemist' to Ayn Rand's objectivism to the great wisdom of the Bhagwad Gita and Swami Vivekananda (of which I have just scratched the surface). The books just continue to come - 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance', 'Hackers and Painters' (how long I waited for this!) and 'The Design of Everyday Things'. They fire my thoughts and make my life richer.

So correct...at times you just lay ahnds on exactly what you need. But there are also times when you just dunno why you are reading crap......but then you just cant keep the book down because its against the etichs of book reading ;)

Yes, respect for a PoV ;). There are so many things to read, that it may be better to give up what I don't want to read. The ethic would be to not ridicule it, just because I don't agree with it. Knowing that PoV is an experience. Its amazing how you may agree/like the same thing in a different circumstance.
